ELD SOLUTION
LEARN WHAT YOU NEED TO COMPLY
Many of you might know, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) mandate to begin using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) went into effect on December 18th, 2017. This rule is designed to create a safer work environment for drivers, and make it easier and faster to accurately track, manage, and share Records Of Duty Status (RODS) data. An ELD synchronizes with a vehicles engine computer to record driving time and create a standard for Hours-Of- Service (HOS) compliance.
ELD Required for:
- Commercial vehicle drivers who currently are required to maintain Records of Duty Status (RODS)
- Equipment that weighs more than 10,001 pounds
- All equipment that falls under Hazmat loads
- Commercial vehicle classes that carry more than 8 or 15 passengers
